What Do You Expect? ♦ Grade F

It’s only January and we already have two sex comedies that are not
    worth even a single dime.

Sunny (Kapoor) and Aditya (Das) are two womanizers who philander their
way to ceaseless sexual gratification. However, twin sisters Lily and
Laila (both Leone) inspire these bachelors to take commitment
seriously. What inspires them? Of course the hot bod. The rest of the
plot revolves around Sunny and Aditya’s attempts to woo these sisters
while the narrative simultaneously smothers its audience with a crowd
    of unwanted, cringe-worthy characters.

If you did watch Kyaa Kool Hai Hum 3 in spite of my warning, then you
will understand that Mastizaade is its cousin. Only this one is more
mature and more porn-like. Nevertheless, it is full of crass, lousy
dialogs that uses pun to create humor, and baseless story arcs.

Having said that, there is not much difference between Hollywood and
Bollywood sex comedies for they are both made to appeal the male gaze.
And Mastizaade is no different. While I do not expect much from Kapoor,
Das playing such a role is a disappointment – the second time after he
ran behind Miss Ranaut in Revolver Rani (2014). Leone is fine, but it’s
sad to learn that she will and can only work in such films because
certainly Sooraj Barjatya is not gonna cast her in his follow-up to
that disastrous Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015). Honestly, she cannot act.

BOTTOM LINE: Milap Zaveri’s Mastizaade is a formulaic sex comedy that
is neither funny nor appealing. Avoid!

    GRADE: F

Can be watched with a typical Indian family? NO

I just want to say one word. Disgusting!

Movies like this are the fact that actor and actress play role like
these played in this movie, they just want money, fame and nothing.

These kind of movies are the shame for Film industry. Why they don’t
accept this fact that people don’t want these types of movies. And
still people respect the type of actor/actresses play role in movies
like this. It’s a shame for the whole Indian cinema that these types of
    movies get license very easily.

I know that we are living in the society where everybody everyone has
their full rights to live their own life their own way, but this type
of movies effect other people lives, their children lifestyle and more.
Please it’s a request to the people that you should also care for other
    people rights.

yeah, It’s surprisingly a funny movie!!!

Personally, I think its a good movie. It would’ve been a lot better, in
my opinion. Usually this kind of film turns me on. Words cannot
describe how funny this flick is. Just whoa!!! This is for everyone who
loves all out crazy and hot comedy. Mastizaade is without a doubt one
of the funniest film I have ever seen. Even my wife(recently married
just 20 days ago LOL) was tempted to re-watch it a day after, for it
was just so funny. Even if the drama isn’t as good, i and my wife
didn’t get boring due to having a load of hilarious and continual
jokes. Its very funny with a decent casting as well. Sunny Leone is my
personal favorite character in the movie. Anyway, if you like hard
hearted funny flicks, then this one is for you, I enjoyed it lots.

had low expectations, turned out even worse

This is my 1st review, and you might wonder why i write it for this
    movie……well, i don’t want u to suffer for 2 hours like i did. This
is the worst kind of comedy!!

Obvious unintelligent double meaning jokes which back in 8th grade too
    would barely make me chuckle.

I was high (yes, that was a factor in why we decided to go for the
movie in the 1st place) when i went in for the movie, and all i could
think of during the movie was my rotting brain-cells.

The only plus of the movie was Sunny Leone…..u can like her or love
her, but u just can’t hate her. Even with her terrible acting, this
bombshell of a woman just can’t be overlooked.

The only parts i liked were of her in sexy getup’s (don’t judge me i’m
just a guy….programmed by nature to get attracted to the attractive
    ones from the opposite sex)

In case you decide to still go for the movie or have already had the
misfortune of watching it, you have my condolences

The kind of movie that makes you want to shoot yourself!!!

What the f**k did i just watch?! That wasn’t remotely funny!

Well, I’m not the kind of guy that stands up for the Indian culture and
whatnot! Occasionally I do enjoy some good adult humour. But more than
that I enjoy a good laugh. Was that too much to expect.

This movie…! It gave me none of that crap. It gave me a headache
instead. That too by the intermission. I was seriously contemplating
leaving but my friends insisted that we stay.

This is a movie about 2 sex addicts….Oh wait! Let me get that right.
This movie is about 2 idiots played by the real life idiots Tushar and
Virdas(anyone who has a brain wouldn’t have anything to do with this
movie) who seek rehabilitation at the hands of 2 more idiots played by
Sunny Leone. And it doesn’t stop there. By the time the movie ends,
you’ve already lost count of how many idiots are on screen playing a
cartoonish version of their real selves. The acting is just horrendous!
Horrendous is actually an understatement! Tushar can’t act for sh*t!
Sunny… pls don’t get me started on her acting skills! Virdas is
talented for sure and tries his best to deliver and save the movie but
you’re left wondering what on earth is he doing in a monstrosity like
this! And the rest of the cast gracefully appall us with a myriad of

The jokes are disgustingly humourless! The writers try their best to
make us laugh with an orgy of whatsapp humour(as we’ve already seen in
previous adult comedies like this). And even some of the original jokes
just come of as a desperate attempt to make an already exasperated
audience laugh. I remember chuckling at one point of the entire movie
and that wasn’t even an adult humour, it was a character just saying
something funny as in all other genres of movies. The rest of the jokes
made me cringe!!! Seriously, every joke was a molestation of my senses.

But that’s all right! I get it. This movie was made so that Sunny can
resort to showing a gracious amount of skin and a ton of cleavage to
Indian audiences in a country where there’s no porn industry. Yeah, who
cares about the story and the acting, right!

I have a ton of respect for Sunny. I truly do. She emerged as a strong
and an unbreakable woman after that disastrous interview… But that
doesn’t mean I’m going to give her crappy movie a positive review! It’s
the kind of movie that makes you feel like you’ve just lost a couple of
IQ points after watching it. On that note, run folks! RUN!!

Mastizaade a treat to watch and no cuss words. Flawless acting by Sunny (real acting.. Not sexual)

Mastizaade is a well scripted act. Detailing is exquisite and the
timing of the actors is a delight to watch. I was skeptical about it
earlier by reading reviews of it but they were wrong, this movie can’t
be compared with Kya Kool Hai Hum3 .

Sunny proved to be a very good actor, be it dialogue or expression
she’s spot on. She’s a bar above all the Katrina’s and those Indian
origin foreign entrant to Bollywood. She has a great future in cinema
and I hope she gets good roles in future well she certainly deserves

For the first time apart from Golmaal series saw Tusshar act to
perfection, and Vir Das is always a treat to watch his stand-up and his

The film gives a short answer to question that might arise to common
men that how the lead character’s fly abroad, by showing they set up
    there own ad agency.

Sex comedy with not much story line

Mastizaade was way obvious from trailers that movie will be having a
lot of sex comedy and double meaning dialogues but some story line was
expected as well at the same time. There was a lack of story in the
movie it was just focused on double meanings and Sunny Leone skin, she
was exposed full time in the movie, even though she was looking
beautiful and her acting have improved from previous movies. But still
audience will require some story with sunny Leone glamour in order to
be a good movie over all.

Overall i can say its not so extraordinary movie, not a must but yeah
people who are fan of Sunnyleone they should watch 🙂

Wow wow wow, a standing applause for bollywood

After watching this movie for one and a half hour, I just wanted to do
one thing; break the screen. Yaakkh. eew. Shame on bollywood and Indian
censor board that allow such kind of a rubbish. 3rd class comedy,
bulls*it story, and 18+ vulgarity. I was shocked to see they have made
a contempt and insulted Prophet Adam and Eve by some shameful false
story. Bollywood is now at the time where it tries to own fame on
disrespecting other religions. I know in India there will be not even a
single protest against it. Shame on you people: Milap Milan Zaveri,
Pritish Nandy,Rangita Pritish Nandy, Mushtaq Sheikh, Milap Zaveri,
Tusshar Kapoor, Vir Das, Sanjay F Gupta, Nitin Rokade, PNC Productions,
Panorama Studios, Pen India Limited. You people aren’t into this job.
You can’t make movies. Just go and insult other religions, that’s what
    you are good at.

    The best movie ever !

I just couldn’t believe, Mr. Pritish Nandy (Padma Shri) such an scholar
is the producer of this film. I have nothing to say for the viewers but
I surely would like to say to the director of the film Mr. Milap Milan
Zaveri, MAN ! I’m really worried about you ! please start going to the
gym and visit psychologist regularly, and if you are really serious
about your film directing profession then start going to the film
    school too. Cheers!
